Happy EP and other stories
The remix I did for Warp Technique is out on April 25th, 2011, on Dubmission Records. It’s called “Nowhere Dub (mistrust remix)” and is available on all the major music download sites. The track is part of the “Happy EP”, which is the final release from the band’s “Make Animals Happy” album.
The full track listing is: History of Dreams (Doof remix); Nowhere Dub (mistrust remix); Night Break (Capisconne Remix); Solid State (Patch Remix); Wale (Warp Technique Remix) – Vieux Farka Toure. You can listen to the whole EP here on this Soundcloud music player before you decide to buy it!
If you do decide to buy the EP, please download it from the band’s website on bandcamp from 25th April. If you download your music from Amazon or iTunes, it’s on there too.
I actually finished the Warp Technique remix last Summer, but it’s taken a while for them to get all of the tracks together for the EP release. Hopefully I’ll get some more remixes soon… In the meantime, I’m still working on the EP release of my own music. It’s probably going to be called “Half Past Dub”. No guesses why that title. It’ll have remastered versions of “Half Past One” and “Dubcrazy” on it, plus one or two new tracks.
By the way, the remixes I did for the Gary Numan “Scanner” and John Foxx and The Maths “Shatterproof” remix competitions are on my mistrust Soundcloud page. I didn’t win, but it was good experience, especially remixing tracks by artists I’ve been a fan of for a long time!
Don’t forget to listen to my other tracks and remixes on my mistrust music page.
